Hello & welcome!

I'm Madison, Nice to meet you!

I've been into art for as long as I can remember, whether it was painting, dancing, acting, drawing, singing, or photography, I did it all. But it wasn't until the Season 2 pt.2 of 'Destination Fear' that I started doing graphic design. I received an iPad and an Apple Pencil for Christmas 2020 and thought trying some graphic art might be fun! So to show my support for the show and the new episodes premiering, I created this (photo below)! Keep in mind, this was my very first digital project and I had no idea what I was doing.

Soon after, I started making more of what I call "faceless portraits" just for fun because I enjoyed it and loved sharing my work on socials with others who also enjoy the show. It wasn't until October 2021 that I tried my hand at making "promo" for the show. One thing led to another and I was making promos twice a week for every episode that would premiere every weekend while the second half of Season 2 was airing!

Somewhere in there, I had a "lightbulb moment" and (as cliché as it is) I truly feel like I've found my calling. I'm incredibly grateful considering some people don't find their calling till later in their lives.

Aside from that, I'm completely self-taught. I take inspiration from virtually everything; product packaging, storefronts, posters, TV/movies, nature, marketing, other artists, and the list goes on and on. Growing up, I always took notice of billboards, commercials, food packaging, you name it, and knew color theory like nobody's business but I never really thought anything of it. When I started designing, that's when the puzzle pieces started connecting. This experience has been so rewarding already and I'm so grateful that I have been given this gift.

I've learned everything I know so far from trial and error, and a few Youtube tutorials here and there to understand the basic tools. The main program that I have used since day one is an app called 'ProCreate'. You pay $9.99 once and it's all yours! Super beginner friendly, I recommend it to anyone who wants to create but is intimidated by Photosh0p and Illustrator. I'm slowly but surely working towards making the switch to the Adobe programs!

Flash forward to January 2022 when I started doing commissions! It's been a great learning experience, and I love bringing other people's ideas to life! Recently, I've been branching out and creating posters for upcoming Travel Channel and Discovery Plus shows! I'm still doing commissions off and on and I'm honored to have worked with some successful and inspiring people so far, such as Aaron Sagers (Paranormal Caught On Camera), Chelsea Laden (Destination Fear), Dakota Laden (Destination Fear), Josh Purvis (Searchers-The Paranormal Mind), Shane Pittman (The Holzer Files) and more!

I'm incredibly grateful for the support I've received from such kind people over the last (almost) 3 years, I can't wait to see where it takes me in the future!
